For the default roster set, do you guys just leave the "minor league options" field at 0 unless there's concrete evidence otherwise? I'm noticing a few guys who are out of options, and the vast majority who have not used any options.
There are a ton of guys in the Braves organization who have definitely used at least one option year (Bethancourt, Vizcaino, Cunningham, Terdoslavich, etc.) listed at zero option years used. Yet all the
guys who are out of options are listed appropriately.
I'm guessing it's pretty easy to find out if a guy is out of options - when a guy runs out, that becomes pretty readily available information on baseball sites.
But before that point, nobody really mentions how many options a player has. You'd have to look up when he was added to the 40-man, and then figure out how many options he's used. Realistically, that sounds like too tedious a task to attempt, hence setting all of these players to zero options used.
