Barry pitches one game and is captured in all his Cardinal glory. My ultimate white whale Tommy Underwood comes over in a mid season trade with the Phils, goes 6-9 across 100 IPs, and gets the infamous paintbrush from Topps. (and yes I understand the logistics of why Topps didn't make a special trip to take his pic but did for the other player in that deal - Bake McBride.)
FWIW and probably nothing to all of you, I've actually chatted with one of the now retired in stadium photographers for the Cardinals back in the 70s. Great guy who couldn't help me, but did give me a few other contacts..... the rabbit hole keeps getting deeper...
