On the "doubles" line it says J. Smoak 2 (3, What's the 3 about? If Smoak had 2 doubles and 3 hits, I count that as 5 total bases. This shows he had 6.
Donaldson shows 5 for 5 with no extra base hits (although from memory at the time he had 3 doubles.) 5 for 5 w/no extra = 5 total bases. 5 for 5 with 3 doubles = 8 total bases. Stats shows him with 8 total bases.
