I doubt Stanton will stick with the Marlins. Once he gets expensive they'll toss him off to whatever team will be willing to pay him. Or he'll opt out after the 4 years and sign a gigantic FA contract.
But yes, I closed a loophole to make things realistic. And even I find it really annoying at times signing guys with the new code.
