Dynasty-Kansas City

Today, xepicx2729 was signed as the manager of the Kansas City Brigadiers.

Hello all! My name is xepicx2729 and I'm the new manager of the Kansas City Brigadiers, Today I will give my roster evaluation, and division evaluation.

Minor League Prospects:

SP Luis Rodríguez, 19, Costa Rica, R
Currently projected to be a reliever and could develop into a mid-rotation starter. He has 20/20 stamina, which means he could be a mop-up guy as well.

C Ken Holmes, 24, USA L/R
Moreover a potential backup catcher, decent defense, average batting. Nothing to get excited about.

LF/RF William Kline, 22, USA S/L
Slow, but has nice gap and homerun power and a rocket arm. Most likely will be used as a RF if he develops correctly.

Major League Roster:

Rotation:
1. SP Pedro Negrón, 24, Mexico, R
Young stud who doesn't have a lot of stamina. Hits 95-97 on his 19 fastball. Rated 20/16/15 with 7 stamina and 3 hold runner. Really good batting pitcher.

2. SP Francisco Gonzáles, 32, Nicaragua, R
Borderline starter, another decent batter, 92-94 mph fastball. His 16 movement is impressive (as is Negrón's) and 16 control is a bonus as well.

3. SP Paul Sims, 30, USA, R
Beautiful bunt, with a gold glove to go with it. Velocity is really low on the fastball (89-90) but another 16 movement pitcher. Nice stamina.

4. SP Jeffrey Stone, 34, USA, L
SO BAD at anything involving a bat. Slow fastball (87-89), only left-handed starter. Nice control, but that's about it.

5. SP Stanley Brown, 31, USA, R
Great bunt and glove, velocity is just like Sims (89-90) on the fastball. Doesn't have great stuff, but he has a decent changeup.

Bullpen:

MR Casey Adams, 33, USA, L
Can't do anything with a bat, but is the opposite with his glove. Has terrible control issues (7/20) and hits 92 on the cutter.

MR Ed Myers, 27, USA, R
Throws a nasty slider, but you can't say the same about his changeup. Decent velocity (91-93) but isn't a star on any team.

MR Michael Jennings, 29, USA, L
Great batter, might get the occasional start. Has nice movement but isn't great in too many other aspects. If any starter gets hurt, most likely will move to starter.

MR José Alfaro, 23, USA, L
Velocity is low at 87-89 yet is projected to start. Sorry bud, not happening soon. Maxed out at 10/10/9 with 14 stamina, might be our mop-up pitcher.

SU David Welch, 24, Puerto Rico, R
Surprisingly enough, he might be moved to the rotation at some point in the near future. He has a lot of development left, but his 16 stamina and borderline starter make him a nice piece for the team.

SU Brad Bass, 29, USA, R
So many slow throwing stiffs. 87-89 mph fastball projected starter as the secondary setup. Well, at least I know which position is a priority in the draft.

CL Ricardo Ramos, 26, USA, R
Why don't you guys just shoot me now. A starter is my closer. Best bunter on the team, hits 90-92 on his cutter. Ugh, this is gonna be bad.

Batter Positions:

C Carlos Delgado, 36, USA, S/R
Isn't this a surprise? An old, past his prime catcher. His arm isn't all that impressive either.
C/1B Bradley Rickard, 29, Australia, R/R
What do you know? My backup is a better batter than my starter. Same arm behind the plate as well. Maybe Holmes will end up starting after all.

1B Kevin Picot, 28, USA, L/L
Only a starter against righties, but he has some power (against righties of course.) Nice defense but would be a full time player if he could hit lefties.
2B Robert Marsh, 23, USA, R/R
Defensive star. Barely a starter now, but should slightly improve in the future (I hope he does).
2B,SS,LF,CF Gunner Casey, 27, USA, R/R
Penciled in as the full-time SS even though his defense is lacking there. At least the guy knows how to not strikeout a bunch.
3B António Trinidad, 32, USA, S/R
Defensive star. Full time starter. Hopefully does well or else...our team is in the pits.
SS,2B,3B,CF Luis López, 30, USA, S/R
Nothing more than a pinch runner or defensive sub to me. Can't hit lefties at all.

LF/CF/RF Ken Cline, 24, USA, R/R
Kid has a cannon and a great defensive ability in left. Bad baserunner with poor batting abilities. Full time starter, but sometimes in right.
1B/LF/CF/RF Corey Russell, 23, USA, R/R
Will most likely only be used as a pinch runner this year, Defensive substitute, maybe. Can't hit righties.
1B,LF,RF José Vázquez, 37, Cuba, L/L
Cannot run. At all. 1/1/1. Hopefully retires because his time is calling.
LF/CF/RF Rob Bane, 35, USA, R/R
Full-time starting CF, which is his only defensive position above a 5. Nothing of a speedster but at least can get on base.
LF/RF Gabriel Bender, 35, USA, R/R
Congrats! You get to cheer on another old player who has no place anywhere on the depth chart! Man this team is all about the struggle.
1B/LF/RF Robert Bennett, 28, USA, L/L
Starts in right almost all the time, but doesn't have the arm for it. (12/20) But, the guy can bat so I won't complain.

Well, that concludes our team review. Next, the division review!

Atlanta Acorns: Weaker rotation, stronger in everything else. Everything.
Austin Purple Warriors: Weaker rotation, stronger pen, tied in everything else.
Houston Blue Sharks: Weaker rotation, equal bullpen, better lineup.
Sacramento Zealots: Better in everything except outfield.

So, there you have it. Our outstandingly crappy team will hope to finish 4th in the division. (I want a 75-87 record, but I know I'm asking for a lot there.)

Season begins next post.
