Well, here it is! October baseball is upon us! We have successfully navigated the massive storm of injuries thrust upon us and have won our 5th straight AL Central crown, but we are a professional ball club and that is what you are supposed to do. Injuries are never an excuse. Brett Lawrie was performing very well for us until he tore all of the ligaments in his ankle landing awkwardly after making a leaping catch and he is gone for the season.

We've signed Alberto Callaspo and and Jeff Keppinger to provide infield depth. Callaspo unfortunately went down with a hamstring injury legging it out to first base and should be back in a week or two. Until then, we have rookie Jefry Marte starting at 3rd and we really like his potential but this isn't really the time to count on potential. Here's the updated playoff roster:
