IPA THIRD ALL-DECADE TEAM 2021-2030

C Crash Davis (2013-2033)
Crash Davis, who stood out for the Ginza Ninjas for 17 of his 21 seasons in the Islandian Pro Alliance, was chosen to the Third All-Decade Team as the top backstop... he was a lifetime .304 hitter with 3018 hits, 403 homers, 1465 RBIs and 1656 runs... Davis was a 15-time All-Star, 5-time Gold Glover and led his team to five pennants, but never won a Pro Cup ring... he was installed in the IPA Hall of Fame in 2038. Davis played until 2033 and retired at age 39. He only had modest success In postseason play where he batted .234 with 2 home runs, 12 RBIs and 12 runs scored in 35 games... not only was Davis a productive hitter, he was very good defensively, too. He was also quite good in the 2010s, but was beaten out by the great Hal Stevenson for the IPA Second All-Decade Team.
