IPA THIRD ALL-DECADE TEAM 2021-2030

RF Corbett Brooks (2022-2044)
Long ball prowess got Corbet Brooks into the Islandian Pro Alliance Hall of Fame in 2047... and it certainly helped get him elected to the IPA Third All-Decade Team, too... he is third all-time with 727 roundtrippers, topped only by two legends, the all-time record-holder Jerry Culpepper (878) and Jack Elliott (848), the number two man.

Brooks was also a fine outfielder with a good arm... four times he was chosen for the All-Star team and he also got a Golden Glove in 2036... Brooks moved around a lot, played for four difference clubs, but never played for a pennant winner and never played in the postseason... his clubs were Red Bluff, South Fork, La Claire and High Mesa, all in the Tycobbian Union... he batted only .263 lifetime, but had 3008 hits, 600 doubles (11th), 1980 RBIs (9th), 1939 runs (14th), 2002 walks (5th) and played in 3187 games (12th)... Brooks also is the all-time leader by far with 2968 strikeouts, 500 more than Ivan Krause in the number two spot... he retired in 2044 at age 41 after 23 seasons.
