Pray your owner falls victim to the OOTP Owner Death disease.

Seriously, the owner goals don't matter much except for winning. My owner wanted me to improve at left field, and I had a young, controllable 22 year old there who hits .250 with 30 homer power and stellar defense (70+ ratings all around on 20-80). I failed that goal, but also made the Greek Championship Series, my equivalent of the World Series. So who knows more?
Oh yeah, he extended my contract after that too.
