From what I understand, playoff ticket prices are double the season ticket price, so assuming that this team plays 12-14 playoff games which presumably would be sell-outs it is possible that this team turns a minuscule profit - but the other playoff teams are projected to lose even more money so it would probably turn the pool of profitable teams from 2 to maybe 4 or 5.
