And this a TV shot from one of the 100 oddest stories in there. Seven-year minor league catcher Tony Auferio went to the Cardinals' camp as a player in 1973 and made the team - as the bullpen coach. He spent one year doing that and then went back to the active roster for 1974 - and was photographed by Topps. He spent one more year in the minors and never played, nor again coached, in the majors.
