The AI might prefer Castillo to whoever's place he took based on the ratings and therefore whether Castillo is put in Pawtucket or not is irrelevant. He will wind up with Boston because the AI deems him worthy by the only thing it knows: the ratings, which were based off of Baseball Prospectus' PECOTA projection system.
