I have a question for you and anyone else that would like to chime in. Do you think when playing OOTP that DH leagues make better use of their entire roster? By this, I mean giving regulars more rest. Playing backups etc. Probably a case of confirmation bias, but it often seems to me that in non DH leagues a lot of guys, only enter games as pinch hitters.

i think a non dh-forces you to use your bench more, as in real life.
guys get ABs even when they are not starting often, because they still get to bat for pitchers quite often. relative to the manager and other forces, they still start as much as the AL, i bet. some managers use their bench more than others.
i am neither pro nor con DH. i just prefer uniformity, regardless of the decision they make. otherwise, it's two different games in my mind.
