select the area and crop - that will lop off whatever you do not select. paint can do this no problem.

it may have that border to match reso defined for them in the game. it may distort or stretch after your crop it, if it is not the same relative dimension. i've never done anything with logos and this game, so you may need a little trial and error, or it might work the first time.
