You could surely do that as one way to try to cover his defensive liability but.... That 7 IF error means he isn't playing IF for
me except in extreme emergency. My current third-baseman is rated 12 for IF errors and in 1 run games I cringe on balls hit to him late in the game
I'd go so far as to say if I wasn't in a DH league I wouldn't have him on my team.
Man you have to love that bat and the skills he brings to the plate. Not a trouble maker and is a hard worker to boot. What a terrible problem to have as a manager
