Yea randomness is already pretty crazy if you use very low scouting... i have a legendary scout who misses ratings on amateurs by about 50% regularly. I keep it at 100 and I have barely bred about 1 superstar every 10 seasons doing it that way. Lots of average and bench players, some stars, but very few superstars. I think this is realistic (in a fictitious league).
