IPA FOURTH ALL-DECADE TEAM 2031-2040
CF: Scotty Lagrange (2027-2044)
The Fourth All-Decade center fielder was a jack of all trades... the model of consistency... Scotty Lagrange played 18 years in Eastshore, just a mediocre ball club most of his career... but he certainly wasn't mediocre... Lagrange was a 5-time All-Star, 6-time Golden Glover... he even hauled in the Ruthlandian Most Valuable Player trophy in 2034, when the Elegants won their only pennant... Lagrange also took the RU Golden Bat that season, too...that year he posted a .332 BA with 191 hits, 34 doubles, 5 triples, 41 homers, 127 RBIs, scored 111 runs and walked 81 times with a .414 OBP... lifetime Lagrange batted a rock solid .295 with 451 home runs, 1414 RBIs and 1415 runs scored... he retired in 2044 at the age of 36 and was voted into the Islandian Pro Alliance in 2049.
