That should be Steven RODRIGUEZ, not "Hernandez". (The mention of Dodger reliever Paco Rodriguez, likewise renamed to "Hernandez" might have been a clue, but only if you know how stupid I can occasionally be.) In my defense, it was like 4.30 AM Pacific Time, but still, that's a big goof.

For future reference, Steve is player #30944. Thanks for your work, and I'll skulk back to my cave now…maybe watch some Mets games, with Keith Rodriguez doing the color?

ETA: And of course this guy should be "Steven" Rodriguez, since current Baylor coach (and 1995 Major Leaguer, briefly of the Red Sox and Tigers) Steve Rodriguez has that name already for his facegen. I guess I was just trying to keep all the "Steve Rodriguez" guys separate (the one I wanted, Paco, Baylor coach Steve, the U of Florida guy, a Puerto Rican-born Steve who plays for Graceland University [which I never heard of; did Elvis found it?]), that I managed to mix up the surname with Jan Hernandez, also in the post. Which was still lame, don't get me wrong.

EATA: Okay, how about some guys from the Nats chain. Presumably with the correct names, although you never know…

Brian Dupra

Osvaldo Abreu

Jeffrey Gardner

(Note: Although Jeffrey somewhat resembles ex-Met Jeff Gardner [and he's the right age AND he's a "Jeffrey Gardner, Jr."], he is NOT Jeff's son. Jeffrey is "Jeffrey WILLIAM Gardner, Jr.", but Jeff is "Jeffrey SCOTT Gardner". So we can just call Jeffrey "Jeffrey", IMO.)

The wonderfully named Shawn Pleffner.

And the annoyingly-smiley Gilberto Mendez. (There's always one…)
