High Leverage vs Closers
I am trying to figure out the best way to force the AI to use relief pitchers based on high leverage situations instead of standard closing.
For the team I manage i apply all relievers as specialists and assume the game has a rank order based upon availability, matchups, and ability.
For all the cpu manged teams would changing the use of closer in league settings to very rarely accomplish this?
Just curious if anyone has messed around and seen results
