I do very hard/neutral. It's unrealistically unbalanced in the computer's favor 95% of the time and impossible to trade for prospects, and it seems that the AI won't ever trade someone with a minor league contract to you. That said, you can still make a good trade for your team if you spend the time to look for players that are undervalued by their teams (incl using the shop around function). In one year, I as able to trade a mid 30's impeding free agent 4th outfielder for a mid 20's 30 HR hitter making less money; in another deal I dealt another utility player and middling prospect for a young, 4 star pitcher.
