Taking a break from the Barr-Farnham Washington Senators postcards for a much better known, much more expensive set, issued between 1908 and 1911 by St. Louis photographer Harry Bregstone and depicting both the Browns and the Cardinals.

We know this one is from the first year of issue, 1908, because it was Art Fromme's last year with the awful Cards before borderline stardom in Cincinnati and New York. Fromme would win eleven games for the 1913 N.L. Champion Giants, but did not appear in the World Series.
