No effect at all. Just different presentations. One could argue that 20-80 scale is finer (60 increments) than 10 half star increments. I recently went back to stars for that reason.

There are so many variations of AI eval out there. My advice is to play a few seasons and decide how good or bad the AI is at evaluating FA and prospects. My focus is on FA and it generally causes me to change AI evaluation every 2-4 seasons. I've got leagues with 30-30-30-10 and others with 20-60-10-5.
