Their demands should go down after a while. I saw a 37 year old Prince Fielder coming off of an MVP season and an All-Star season asking for a 4 year deal worth $47 million a year, and shortly after the Preseason started he signed a 3 year $20 million per deal with another team. If you want one of the old players, wait until the demands go down and other teams enter negotiations.
Free agency in this game is easily the most realistic it's ever been
