An OS is an OS, after all, and if your programs are running fine on the old OS, isn't that the whole point?

I tell you, they are going to have to pry my W7 out of my cold, dead laptop. Or something.

My problem? My luck? My laptop will last until Windows 11, the bad version coming up, has been released and is mandated on all new equipment.
I upgraded because I bought a new PC earlier this year and W8 was the only OS they offered. I would run through fire to get away from that.
