So, ironically, here's what happened with this. We faced off against the Chula Vista Dragons in a three-game set. Won the first two games, our longest winning streak of the season, to bring our record to 13-18.
So Olivier got the next turn in the rotation. Pitched three scoreless innings, and then . . . rain delay.
Now, I don't know if OOTP is modeled to put pitchers at higher risk of injury if they pitch after a long rain delay, but I didn't want to risk it. So, in comes the long relief guy . . . Vernon Woods, the exact guy I took OUT of the rotation to give Olivier a shot!
Woods then proceeds to throw five innings of one-hit ball. We scrape out a run in the 7th, and win 1-0! They had two hits, we had one. Our first series sweep of the season, and our first three-game winning streak of the season!
Weird.
