I just started letting the AI manage the games. For the most part I am letting the manager set the line-ups too with only the occasional interference.

I'm still watching in pitch-by-pitch mode but I wanted to step back and approach the game from more of a GM role instead of God-mode. So far, it's been fun.

Does anyone have any experience playing this way? If so, do you find that you are still engaged at the game-level? Do you find it hard to not bring in the bullpen when you see the pitcher is tired in a close game?
