This is exactly how I play in GM Only. I enjoy playing out the games by just watching them, and I don't want to miss any moments by skipping over games. IE Player A's first career HR, Player B's 100th HR, Player C throwing a no hitter etc.

I ask manager once a week to set all the lineup/depth charts then I tweak maybe 1 or 2 things about them that I prefer and that's it, manager has control of all strategy and makes all in-game decisions while I watch.

I also enjoy shouting at what an idiot my manager is when he makes decisions I disagree with during the game, but that's all apart of the fun I think

Plus, if the team is playing like crap then I actually have a legitimate reason to sack the manager as he's the one that's been making all the coaching decisions.
