I like it on, I recently made two trades, one before the season and one at the deadline.

I was in dire need for "young" power, so I scanned rosters and saw there was value in trading a 26 year old (current stats below - didn't see him doing what he is now) 1st, 2nd, and 5th round picks, cash and a veteran for a 21 yr old with A LOT of potential. I kept him in the minors until the Sept 1 call ups.

I stayed patient as pitching was keeping me close to .500, yet 17 games out of the division, but a Wild Card spot was in site, as my offense was abysmal at best, my team was LAST in HR, so I looked to see who was out of the playoff picture (team was 24 games out), zeroed in on player who was VERY unhappy, and started the negotiation process. It cost me A LOT draft pick-wise, cash-wise, and a player who was the "heartbeat of the team" who had amassed a .189 BA 5HR 25 RBI.

In the end, besides the players I gave up, (one is currently hitting over .400 with 6 HR and 20 RBI thru 13 games of the 2016 Season) and cash (a lot), it made the deals work.

Do I consider it "fleecing the computer"? - No, I won't make a trade unless it benefits both teams (gamebreaker for me), which both trades did.

To me it adds to the "immersion" aspect of this great game.

Just my two cents..............
