Before( 2 or 3 years ago) I was told that I shouldn't make player transactions inbetween games of double-headers and eventually the game did crash. I would trade players between teams that were playing double-headers and send starting pitchers to the minors and recall a starting pitcher for a second game of double-header.
Update: The New England Patriots and California Angels are playing back to back double-headers and I just send down starting pitcher Aubrey Gatewood to the minors(using player editor) and purchased a pitcher from the minors to start the second game.
