I've been guilty of inadequate attribution myself and will take care to be better about noting sources. As the rule states, do the best you can. If you know where something came from, add the information to your post. If not and another forum member helps with a citation, view it as an assist not an affront.

Thanks for saving me from having to type this out again.
It's been 9 months since I've had to say anything about this but the message is timeless. Wherever possible we need to take care to do basic due diligence before posting so that we properly attribute photos. As I said in the linked post, do your best. It's especially easy to find images sourced from this forum. A very quick name search using the "Search this Thread" link at the top of each page will turn up virtually all of the photos that have already been posted here. For a more comprehensive look, including all of the threads on the forum, use the "Advanced Search" option in the "Search" drop-down. In most cases a link back to the original post (
Kekich, for example) is preferable to a re-post of the photo.
