I'm like you... not very computer literate.
I asked for detailed help just like you and was advised on the Mods Forum to just download the logo, cap and jersey software and jump in a try it... it was a little bewildering at first, but I would get help for specific questions and the guys on the Mods Forum were great to help me out.
I now can do basic and simple logos, jerseys and caps.
You can do it, too.
Start with the Logo Creator... then learn the Cap Creator... and lastly the Jersey Creator.
When you are confused or don't understand how to do a certain procedure, just post your specific questions in the appropriate thread on the OOTP Mods Forum.
Logo questions should be posted in the "OOTP Logo Creator and Color Code File Name Builder".
Cap questions in the "Ball Cap Creator" thread.
And Jersey questions in the "Jersey Creator" thread.
Good luck... you can do it.
