Just started playing OOTP16 - long layoff in upgrading, my prior version was 6.5!

Great game.

In my first league, however, I'm finding that I would like to shorten the schedule from 162 games to 54 (so I can play them all without driving myself nuts).

I'm about 12 games in. Is there a way to easily delete the remaining games after Game 54 and not have the league bug out in other ways? If not, what will happen if I simply manually delete the remaining 2/3 of the season? Its only an 8 team league, so while tedious I think I can do this...
