Detroit and Tampa Bay pretty much have the 1st and 2nd seeds wrapped up in the Atlantic with Montreal and Boston fighting for the 3rd seed. Florida is a long shot for either a 3rd seed or Wild Card spot. It looks like Pittsburg, Washington and Philadelphia are the likely 1st, 2nd and 3rd seeds. The Rangers, Islanders and Blue Jackets will be playing for the the Wild Card spots.

Chicago Blackhawks | 77 | 37 | 34 | 6 | 80 | 1 |
Winnipeg Jets | 77 | 35 | 35 | 7 | 77 | -26 |
The Pacific spots are already finalized with the Kings, Oilers and Flames. The rest of the division is all eliminated. The Central is much more confusing. The Wild and Blues are guarenteed a top 3 spot while the Stars look like they are pretty close to clinching the 3rd spot. The Preds and Avs have a good handle on the Wild Card spots but the Hawks and Jets are not officially eliminated.
