according to Suspended List -- they do count against the 25 and 40 man roster.

this wiki page told me the opposite. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Major_...seball_rosters says they can be taken off the 40-man roster.

i don't know what has less integrity - a sports reporter/blogger or a wiki page.

however 2-to-1 so far... my money is that they do count against 25/40 man rosters. if that is happening, it is essentially what is happening in real life without the asthetic of an actual "suspended list."

while in this case it seems difficult from a very basic google search to get reputable information, it is out there. this is reference material we can double check. the game seems to be handling this the right way unless i misread something above.

i'm not saying anythign in absolute terms, because i am not satisfied with the info i found... definitely don't take someone's word on reference material. it's easily accessible and verifiable.
