Babe Ruth Award
For the third consecutive season, an Embro Sun won the best hitter award in the East. Runners-ups for the award this season were both previous Babe Ruth Award winners:

Paul Hooks (.331/.432/.608, 25 HR, 140 RBI, 6.2 WAR);
3rd: SS
Katsunan Chikafuji (.316/.377/.522, 25 HR, 100 RBI, 6.4 WAR).
Jim Friend led the Eastern League in Runs (120), Doubles (43), HR (36), RBI (148) and WAR (8.9). His home run and runs batted in totals are United League records for a season.
Paul Hooks led the Eastern League in SLG (.608) and OPS (1.040). His slugging percentage set a single season record in the ULB and he leads the entire United Leagues in career SLG (.581) and home runs (116).

Runners-ups for the award this season were last season’s winner, Braeland City’s SP
Lenny Freke (20-12, 1 SV, 2.29 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, 8.9 WAR) and Stratford’s SP
Ryan Borden (23-8, 2.61 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, 8.4 WAR).
Cooling led the Eastern League in ERA (2.02), WHIP (1.03) and BB/9 (1.5). His ERA set a United Leagues season record.
Freke led the Eastern League in WAR (8.9). Last season, Freke set the United Leagues season record for WAR (9.9) and Opponents OPS (.563).
Borden led the League in wins (23).

Babe Ruth Award
For the first time, someone not playing for the Kingston Pelicans won the Babe Ruth Award. Runners-ups for the award this season was Kingston’s SS
Okura Ito (.323/.364/.516, 29 HR, 126 RBI, 7.2 WAR) and Kingston’s 1B
Fergus Chitty (.288/.414/.544, 30 HR, 113 RBI, 5.7 WAR).
Winstanley led the Western League in AVG (.347), SLG (.578), OPS (.984) and WAR (8.5).
Ito led the League in AB (651), hits (210) and RBI (126). Ito holds career records in the ULB for hits (895), total bases (1393), RBI (478) and WAR (31.8).
Chitty led the League in HR (30) and BB (115). Chitty holds the career record for OPS (1.011).

Satchel Paige Award
For the third season in a row, Kingston’s
Brady Murdy won the Western League Satchel Paige Award. Runners-ups for the award this season was Fort Richmond’s SP
Oscar Burress (15-11, 2.77 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, 7.2 WAR) and Kingston’s SP
Joey Cumberledge (15-10, 2.89 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, 5.5 WAR). Oscar Burress was a runner up for the award last season.
Kingston’s Brady Murdy led the Western League in wins (25), IP (322.0), K (152), WHIP (1.11) and WAR (8.9). Murdy set the season records for wins (25), complete games (31), shutouts (8) and IP (322.0) this past season. He also holds the season records for strikeouts (159), BB + Hits /IP (1.01), Opponents AVG (.221) and Opponents OBP (.254).
For career records, Murdy leads in Wins (90), complete games (113), IP (1180.0), strikeouts (570), BB + Hits/IP (1.13) and Opponents OBP (.280).
Burress led the League in ERA (2.77).
