Hidden behind the mountainously large fact that it's Alan Ashby - and a picture of him as an Astros announcer in 2015 would verify that identification (to say nothing of the fact that any of the first 100 google images of him would do the same)...why would Tom McMillan, who never reached the majors with the Indians, be depicted with them in a photograph clearly taken by Topps' Doug McWilliams before an Indians-A's game at the Oakland Coliseum in 1976 or 1977?
Honestly, I appreciate the enthusiasm and zeal to which you have taken to this product, but given how often this has happened, don't you think you should have somebody
check these lists you've made?
For the record, I do not believe Topps shot McMillan, certainly not with Seattle and I don't think with Cleveland. The photo on the card hints, not conclusively, at a colorized team publicity photo. Here
1977 Baseball Cards Update: 1977 Seattle Mariners - Volume 2 - The Originals is a pretty good photoshop from a Venezuelan card of McMillan, creating a Mariner cap and a faux 1977 Topps card.
Beyond skin color there are almost no similarities between the two men.
