Fictional Historical Leagues

In last year's FHM, when you made a custom league you had the option of using fictional players, or real ones. I thought when FHM 2 came out, when it said there would be "historical custom leagues" that you would still have this options not just that your league could start as far back as 1900.

I think it would be really cool to be able to create a custom league in say, 1945, and have Richard, Howe, Lindsay, Bentley, Apps, and Kennedy in the opening draft, not just randomly generated players.

Another thing I would suggest, although I'm not sure how easy it would be to implement, is to try to cut back on the amount of European and American players that come into the league when you start a historical custom league. It just looks kind of weird to have a top line of Venceslav Lukska, Kostya Petrov, and Aarne Nikula in 1908, when it was rare to have even an American player in the league, let alone a European.

Thanks for your consideration!
