Its the only online league experience I play in.
I run my own league and I also am a member of such a league.
You can hide actual ratings but, potential ratings will be viewable.
It is imperative you use scouts in this type of league otherwise you will be left with just stats to look at.
The commish has no such advantage because all of the actual ratings are behind the edit screen as long as you are not cheating it works.
The other option you can consider to hide is injury ratings too.

To me its the best and most challenging style of league cause you must use your scout & your analysis of stats/park factors to judge a player.
