Tookie Spann
Outfielder Emmanuel Floyd "Tookie" Spann died on December 16 in Jackson, Louisiana at age 48. He had been a non-roster invitee as a replacement player with the Anaheim Angels in 1995. He is shown here in the uniform of the Bristol Tigers. He was a two-sport All-American (baseball and football) at Tulane University.
