This is my first time playing the game, and I downloaded some of the historical custom jersey and helmet sets before creating my first saved game.

I created a fictional league using real life historical team names and starting in 1980. However, I cannot get jerseys or helmets to show up in the game. I've tried experimenting with removing the years from the file names and even replacing the graphics in the saved game's graphics subfolders, but there doesn't appear to be any way to get the game to reload and properly use a jersey or helmet. And I can't seem to find anything to tell me how and where to configure the graphics so they are used with newly created games.

The online manual has instructions for creating subfolders and setting up custom uniforms, but this is only for quick start games. I'm not using a quick start and don't have any interest in this. And I can't find anything that explains how and where these files have to be saved in order to get them to work.
