The umpire in the attached photo is Grimsley. I don't have any of him which show his face better than this one, which is why he remains on the moderator's Missing Umpire's list. See https://sites.google.com/site/tnfoto...ng-umpire-list

The action takes place at a major league spring training game in St. Petersburg, FL. The photo is from the Tucson (AZ) Daily Citizen of March 25, 1972. Grimsley and the player are looking at a ball which has stopped on the third base line.

P.S. I've added another non-facial shot of Grimsley. This one from the Indianapolis Star of July 4, 1965.
