I just saw the most bizarre pitching change I have ever seen.

Roger Mason pitched to Michael Hunter with John Godwin on 1st base. During the at-bat Godwin stole 2nd but then Mason got Hunter to pop out.

Pitching Change - The Yankees brought in Rod Scurry to face Robin Yount.

The Yankees intentionally walk Yount with 1st open.

Pitching Change - The Yankees brought in Bob Apodaca to face Jim Dwyer.

Wait a minute... so they brought in Scurry just so he could intentionally walk somebody?
