I have jerseys and caps created and saved for my fictional league. When I put the saved files into their respective folders in my saved game folder and open the game up, everything is fine, and my jerseys and caps are on all of the players. But when I close the game and re-open it, everything is restored to the game-generated stuff I don't want. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Something of note: I also have team logos but I'm not experiencing the same issue there. The logos have remained the same all the time.
