Stan Hack, one of the better players of his era not in the Hall of Fame. He spent his entire 16-season playing career (1932-47) with the Cubs, and managed the team from 1954-56, so he looks almost out of place in a Cardinals uniform. Hack served on Fred Hutchinson's staff for 1957 and most of 1958, replacing him for the season's final 10 games (3-7).
