Outfielder Carden Gillenwater, the pride of Riceville, Tenn., played in only five games for the St. Louis Cardinals in his MLB debut season of 1940. But there were six photos of him in the latest Lexibell folder we've perused, including his WWII seasons as the Boston Braves starting CF (43, 45-46).
