So, I've finished the regular season, as well as the Sting's playoff run. I won't say anything about how the Sting did in the playoffs, because I may share that later.

But, I will tell you how Baldwin did to finish the regular season.

Baldwin's undefeated run went to 21-0; he actually got a win in twenty consecutive starts from his second win to his 21st.

His regular season stats ended up being: 28-6, 3.07 ERA (151 ERA+), 239-65 K-BB, 1.20 WHIP, 7.5 WAR.

In the player rankings, he is ranked as the 7th best pitcher in the majors, and the 3rd best pitcher in the AL; he is second in the AL in WAR among starting pitchers.

The Sting signed him in late July to a five-year extension where he will be paid 17.8 million a year, which is very team-friendly considering 19 major league pitchers currently make more in this league.

Considering how much more he'd likely get on the free agent market, it seems Baldwin is committed to winning with what he thinks is a team with a bright future.
