Two more gone too soon.
Tony Phillips, who played for the A's (twice), Angels (twice), White Sox, Blue Jays, Tigers and Mets, passed away Wednesday at just 56.
Jim Davenport, who played 13 seasons for the Giants and managed them for a bit in 1985, passed away yesterday. He was 82.
