Ron Washington (longtime twins SS) in my 1988 import is rated as a pretty good catcher for the Indians...looked up his real-life fielding stats and don't see any innings at the catcher position.

update: found John W Russell (Phillies catcher) listed as a CF w/range of 140, which seems to be the default for anyone w/time at that position. Looked at his real-life fielding stats in minors and saw he played 15 games in CF at AAA...this also explains why Washington was rated as a catcher as he made a handful of minor league appearances at that position in 1989.
