Phillies' short-timer Paul Stuffel probably thought the 1953 season had infinite possibilities as he spent spring training with the big club. But his big league days were over after two apperances, no outs and four earned runs -- an infinity earned run average for the season.
But Stuffel was also a small part of the 1950 Whiz Kids season with three September appearances. Overall, he made it into seven MLB games over three seasons.
