Happened to me in Build 37 as well on OSX. Will check on the 3D issue as well.
OSX 10.11.4 (El Capitan)
Processor: 2.6 GHz Intel Core i5
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB
(submitted game files to ftp (ea-ootp17-crash-32816.zip))
